This post has been a long time coming. We have not been the most diligent of blog keepers (note 2+ year since last post), but when it came to our transfer to Tripoli, we felt we should really try. Our transfer was not the easiest, taking nearly 5 months for us to arrive - having left Houston April 29! It took an addition 3 months to get Internet access and even now it is quite temperamental; interrupted by sandstorms, the odd cloud and power outages. The past week I have spent trying to access my blog in English, as opposed to Arabic. You can't imagine how infuriating that was. Well, praise Allah, we are back on-line, so let the blogging begin...
